Road Trip Part 1: Family Campout

Chapman Dam
August 7-10, 2008

We just got back from a great trip to Colorado. We spent the first few days of our trip in the mountains near Basalt. In honor of the Olympics we had our own games. The major events included marshmallow roasting, canoe races, javelin, and an obstacle course. We had a great time. Thanks Mom and Megan for putting it all together.

Looks like a lot of fun. How did you keep Ella's hair looking so nice while camping? We need to do a play date or something.

Beautiful pictures as usual! I like the camping olympics idea. I'm glad you all had a nice trip.

Oh, you just reminded me of some of the reasons I really want to move to Colorado! My brother lives there and every time we visit I always come home and try to get Tate to look for a job there. No luck so far.

Go Team Dilly-Dahle. I hope you won the roasting marshmellow contest!
