In case you were curious....

This is Ella's self proclaimed style.

She took great care this morning picking her outfit, her accessories, and doing her hair.
And then she very matter-of-factly told me, "Mom, this is my style... you should take a picture of my style."

I gladly complied.

Night at the Titan Missle Museum

It was cool...like going back in time 30 or 40 years...

Moving the 6,000 lb door.

The control room.

Deep underground.

A good relaxing spot.

Trying Astronaut Ice Cream

It was totally worth it to just to hear Sophie say, "Look Mom! A ROCKETship!"

The first of many.

Ella's first project/report was due today. Her class is learning about maps, and they all picked a state out of a hat to report on. Ella picked Colorado as her state. She was excited to tell her class that her Grandma and Grandpa live in Colorado, and that she's going to go visit in a couple weeks.

Brought to you by the letter Q...or X.

After a (insert sarcasm here) lengthy, and important discussion (end sarcasm) Jacob and I have decided that our next kid (if there is a next kid...no announcements here) will have a middle name that starts with the letter Q. In fact, the kids middle name might just be Q. Just think how useful it will be to have a middle initial that very few people share, particularly in the online world. This kid would be pretty much guaranteed, to be the only one with the profile name Little Timmy Q Dahle. No confusion on facebook. Picking an email address and user names would be straight forward. liltimmyqdahle@email.com, or tqdahle, etc. He wouldn't need to be creative or settle for tqd233. In fact, maybe the middle initial should be X. I'll bet there's even fewer people that have a middle name that starts with X. Xanadu is out of the question though.

In this photo...

Sophie and Ella are playing "house", and it is bed time. It's Sophie's turn to read the bed time story, so Ella is whispering the words of "Little Red Riding Hood" into Sophie's ear 3 words at a time for her to repeat.
