Re-evaluating my Wholesale Membership Status

Costco. I've been shopping there for the last 6 years, and after my last trip, I'm really wondering why.

Whenever we start running low on diapers or Frosted Mini Wheats, I load up the girls, and head across town to fill up my cart with a 3 months supply of TP, cold cereal, and dryer sheets. But I don't particularly enjoy shopping there. I don't enjoy getting my heals run over by impatient shoppers. I don't like the traffic jams created by people crowding the free sample tables, or jockeying for a parking spot. Come to think of it: I don't really like buying things in bulk... Huh, go figure.

Maybe it's the berry sundaes, or the efficient checkers ... or the ice cream.
I do like their berry sundaes. It's amazing how little it takes to get my loyalty.

oh the berry sundaes. Yummy. That is why we go. ;)

I'm anti-bulk anything. That's why I've struggled so much with the concept of food storage.

I'm not necessarily anti-Costco (Tate's dad has worked there for years), but we've never had a membership. So, I guess that tells you how we feel about it. ;)

But, of course berry sundaes could change my mind.

Unfortunately your Costco is not the same as the ones in Utah. I struggled there as well. It was always crowded unless you went on a Friday before closing. I think they need to build another one closer for you guys. The Costco here is crowded just before the holidays but I never have to wait in line long. It doesn't seem to have the same congestion.

I'm back and forth on this one too. We seem to go one year with the membership; one year without. I don't know if it's worth it either, but there are some things that you just can't get the same anywhere else - for me it's their bread, their baby formula and a few other things.
