Ella's first project/report was due today. Her class is learning about maps, and they all picked a state out of a hat to report on. Ella picked Colorado as her state. She was excited to tell her class that her Grandma and Grandpa live in Colorado, and that she's going to go visit in a couple weeks.

Those projects are fun, but NOT when your kid reveals the day before that its due that you have a report due on _________...
Oh dear... ok, so it's interesting that I totally forgot about this little project until I read your blog... how sad is that? I start teaching and my mind goes kaput. [sigh] Poor Colin and Colin's teacher...hmmm. BTW- I am the choir director and music chairman in my ward. Thanks for your comment.
It brings joy and warmth to my heart that Ella is learning about maps. Perhaps I should look for a teaching job in Tucson.
